Well done to Temple Ewell, our 2018/19 Under 11s 6-A-Side winners
The final was again blessed with good weather and the match was played out between Whitfield Primary School & Temple Ewell Primary School.
The boys played two twelve minute halves in front of a decent sized crowd of supporting parents and friends of all the children involved. And by the end an increasing audience of Dover Athletic players and management team also looked on.
It was a well fought match that ended 2-2 and went straight to penalties which Temple Ewell Primary School won 4-3. The final was refereed by the Dover Athletic Community Trust chairman, Simon Gretton and he was particularly pleased that he didn't have to make any difficult decisions as not a single foul was made throughout the final.
This now means that Temple Ewell Primary School will represent Dover Athletic FC in the National League U11s 6-A-Side tournament. The next round will be played at Sutton United FC on Thursday 14th February and the boys will all wear a Dover Athletic kit.
It was also great to see the lads enjoy their medal and trophy cermeony at halftime. The awards were presented by Josh Passley and Kadell Daniel and then both teams together paraded the trophy in front of the very supportive Crabble crowd.
