Recruitment of Our Community Development Officer

We are very pleased to welcome Pat Sutcliffe to our team as our first employee of the Dover Athletic Community Trust. Pat has a genuine passion to make our trust a massive success in our local communities and has a breadth of experience and a variety of contacts that enables him to fulfil the role. The success of this role and how we develop our trust will very much be down to the relationships we nurture within our community and beyond and enable us to build a variety of opportunities to invest in and improve the Dover district and its community needs.

Charity Golf Day Held in September

On Tuesday 11th September, the Dover Athletic Community Trust held their first event as a Registered Charity at Canterbury Golf Club.

It was an early start for our budding golfers, who warmed up with coffee and breakfast rolls before heading out onto the course for a shotgun start.

The weather was kind to us, apart from being a little windy, which may have resulted in a few wayward shots and lost balls for our 56 team players!

Introduction to Trustees

Say hello to our initial board of trustees. We have 5 passionate people all wanting to see the charitable intentions of Dover Athletic prosper. The trustees are a mixture of club representatives and independent roles.

Representing the club are our Chairman, Simon Gretton, also a director of the football club and Jim Parmenter, Trustee and the Chairman of Dover Athletic.
